IHL, or International Humanitarian Law, are rules that are set in place to reduce the effects of armed conflict. IHL is also known as "The Law of Armed Conflict" or "The Law of War". The central purpose of IHL is to limit and prevent human suffering in times of armed conflict. IHL also protects those who do not take part in the ifghting, such as civilians and medical and religious military personnel.

Our team is focused on educating other students on the negative consequences that armed conflict has on the environment. We aim to inform others about the laws that minimize this damage and the effects they have.
